The Pop Preachers are a band made up of long time high school and college friends. We bring high energy and exciting crowd interaction to all of our shows. We are a group of jazz and classically trained musicians providing an incredibly wide range of music from the 1960s to today. While we bring a strong set-list of all the favorites, one of our most exciting qualities is our All Request format that we engage in during some of our shows. All of the members of the band have been a part of Dueling Pianos in some form and we love to bring that to provide a unique feel to all of our shows.

The Pop Preachers play as an acoustic show (drums and piano), a trio and also a 5 peice band. Because of this we are able to accomodate almost any venue or event type. We limit ourselves to about 3-4 shows a month to allow for other opportunities within the group. We have been playing some very exciting venues the last few years including The Levee, Kellys Westport Inn, Power And Light Live, Hot Country Nights, Local Tap, Llywelyns Pub, BrewTop, One Block South, Brickhouse and many other private events around the Kansas City Metro Area. All I have ever wanted from this band is to do one amazing Disney cover song. I vote "The Gaston Song" from Beauty And The Beast
